Buice Pharmacy

Historic Renovation - Mixed Use

Little Rock, Arkansas

Budget $350,000+
Architect: Rogue Architecture
Contractor: Haney Contractors
Completion: Fall 2017

Buice Pharmacy, located in the Stifft Station neighborhood near downtown Little Rock, is an historic unreinforced brick masonry building with heavy timber framing formerly used as a pharmacy that our clients purchased to be their primary residence and investment property. The building includes two commercial spaces at ground level and a second floor apartment that were all fully renovated for modern sensibilities.

Wood windows were replaced with hand crafted site built wood windows to match original historic windows, all hardwood floors were repaired in place, all systems were replaced and upgraded to current codes, and a once dilapidated building on a prominent street front was put back into service and has spurred additional development in the area.
